Affliction warlock has become the top damage spec in the raid, outperforming others due to buffs and strong AoE damage, while frost death knight has risen into the top five thanks to a targeted 6% buff to Deathbringer, which aligns with their existing playstyle 1:36-1:45. Fire mage remains the most popular and top-performing mage spec overall despite a buff that had little impact, as most logs still use fury playstyle 2:33-2:48. Discipline priest has seen a significant performance drop post-nerf, with healing gap shrinking from ~180k to ~100k HPS in one week, indicating the balance tuning is reducing their relative advantage 10:30-10:47. Elemental and balance druids continue to struggle despite buffs, remaining in the bottom half of DPS rankings 3:05-3:19. Enhancement and fire mages saw buffs with limited impact, as tempest and fury playstyles dominate 3:30-3:56. The raid DPS spread is now very even, with only a 6% gap between top and bottom specs, showing strong overall balance compared to previous seasons 14:52-15:37.

Because last week we had the weekly balance tuning patch with these with these expected changes to the specs. Of course, most of the nerfs were rather irrelevant except for one, which was the nerf to discipline priest. And then when it came to when it came to buffs, we had some some relevant buffs to specs like arcane mage, specs like frost DK, like balance druid, elemental shaman, enhancement shaman as well.
